About This Role

This role will support clients' aftercare progress, providing ongoing coaching and guidance through their recovery journey. It involves coordinating care with third parties and ensuring compliance with program protocols to help individuals rebuild their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client’s aftercare progress and communicate information between client, referent, identified support, and key clinical professionals.
  • Provide regular, ongoing coaching, guidance, and support for the duration of the MRC program for clients and their identified support system.
  • Adhere to protocols for call scheduling and managing concerns around lack of compliance with alcohol and drug screening.
  • Maintain regular third-party contact (therapists, professional boards, employers, recovery coaches) to ensure collaboration.
  • Monitor client’s participation in randomized drug screening and address missed or positive screens.
  • Provide coordination of care, including referrals to other programs and resources.
  • Follow all Company, State, and Federal laws and regulations regarding confidentiality.
  • Assist patients in returning to treatment, if needed, through empathic support and swift intervention.
  • Engage patients and their identified support in re-evaluating the need for re-admission in case of relapse or clinical issues.
  • Promote involvement in Caron services available to all participants.
  • Facilitate virtual recovery groups and/or lectures on campus as scheduled.
  • Complete assigned surveys to obtain requested data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a clinical setting within a drug and alcohol program
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology or related field
  • Extensive clinical background and understanding of behavioral health
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to develop relationships while maintaining boundaries
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and company confidentiality laws/regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the human services, psychology or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting within a drug and alcohol program.

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of case management or coaching experience
  • 2+ years of continuous sobriety (if in recovery)
