This internship provides an opportunity to research and understand topics relating to rubber, PTFE, and plastic components by working with Technology Engineers. The intern will gain product knowledge performing teardowns and sharing insights with an internal audience.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic research support on wide variety of topics for Technology Engineers
- Perform teardowns on equipment and report on findings
- Assist in setting up, monitoring, tearing down and reporting on various tests
Qualifications
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in an engineering science or related field
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student in an engineering science or related field.
Nice to Have
- MS office preferred
- CAD experience preferred
- Knowledge of science of hydraulics and fluid dynamics a plus
- Knowledge of PTFE, rubber and plastic materials a plus
- Experience with coding languages (ex: Python or C++) preferred
- Proficient with hand tools
