Radiology Technologist

About This Role

This role involves providing mobile radiologic technologist services, performing patient X-rays, and assisting medical providers in an urgent care setting across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients of all age groups under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly and protected during X-ray use
• Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services
• Push patients in wheelchairs as needed
• Perform and document daily controls and calibration of X-ray equipment, maintaining Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets when necessary

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Pass MVR background check
• Access to a vehicle

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program
• Previous clinical experience preferred

• Previous clinical experience
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
