Radiology Technician

About This Role

Join a fast-paced medical office as a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment. This role aims to provide high-quality imaging services and support overall clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring proper patient positioning and image quality
• Prepare and operate radiologic equipment, following manufacturer and safety guidelines
• Minimize radiation exposure by using appropriate shielding and protection techniques
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation by explaining procedures and answering questions
• Maintain radiologic equipment through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting service needs
• Adhere to infection control protocols and clinic safety procedures
• Maintain clean, safe exam rooms and radiology areas in compliance with standards and regulations
• Document imaging services and patient interactions in EMR systems
• Willingness to learn and support multiple roles within the clinic

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Experience preferred but not required

Nice to Have

• Bone density experience
• EKG experience
