Radiology CT Tech

About This Role

The CT Technologist provides diagnostic and interventional CT imaging for patients, assisting their physicians in expediting needed care while maintaining quality, efficiency, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures per department protocols
• Provide feedback on images for improvement as needed
• Address customer needs appropriately according to age specific, service specific and disease specific criteria
• Utilize proper procedure for identifying patients
• Maintain patient efficiency by spending the most appropriate amount of time for each task and interaction
• Adhere to UK HealthCare Values during interactions with patients, coworkers, and physicians
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality
• Assist in QA review to maintain professional standards

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License at time of hire
• Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification within one year of hire date
• CT experience
• Patient care experience
• Excellent communication skills
