Radiologic Technologist (Mobile-Local)

About This Role

The Mobile Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing technical procedures and applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, performing patient x-rays, and reporting results to Medical Providers. This role involves traveling between multiple sites to provide X-ray services and offering administrative support to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use
• Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services
• Push patients in a wheelchair
• Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment
• Maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Access to a vehicle
• Pass an MVR background check

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program
• Previous clinical experience preferred

• Previous clinical experience
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
