Perform radiographic procedures for a patient-focused team at an outpatient imaging center. Ensure services are safe and in accordance with guidelines, contributing to improved clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner
- Ensure services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Serve as part of the imaging center team and seek as well as provide feedback for improved clinical practice
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiography Technologist
- Associate's Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography
- Maintain current valid registration from ARRT
- Meet state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
- Skill in operation of radiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely
- Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiography Technologist
