About This Role

Function as an imaging technologist in diagnostic imaging, coordinating patient care and communication within a medical center dedicated to the care of infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with childhood conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a customer advocate and strive to better meet the needs of, and to support, patients and/or families
  • Communicate with patients, families and employees in a courteous manner
  • Respond promptly to requests by patients, families and employees
  • Comply with applicable policies, guidelines, regulations, and/or accreditation standards
  • Prepare patients, parents, and/or families for procedures/examinations physically and/or psychologically
  • Conduct procedures/examinations following protocol/guidelines as directed
  • Maintain currency in the field through continuing education, conferences, and literature
  • Attend all mandatory CCHMC training sessions and implement obtained knowledge/skills

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Equivalent
  • Registered ARRT (R) or eligible
  • Licensed by Ohio Department of Health within 30 days of eligibility

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Equivalent
  • 0+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

  • Bachelor's Degree
