The Radiologic Technician performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards, serving as the primary interface with patients for their imaging needs.
Responsibilities
- Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
- Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- Participates in PI/QC activities.
- Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Requirements
- Current NJDEP license
- ARRT-R certification
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification
- Graduation from a JRCERT accredited program
Qualifications
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in RT)
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
Nice to Have
- One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
