Develop and implement advanced radar signal processing algorithms and systems, working with cutting-edge technologies to design, test, and analyze radar functionalities. This role involves modeling and simulation to demonstrate performance, contributing to solutions for advanced radar image products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement algorithms for advanced radar systems
- Work with antennas, transmit and receive chains, radar system modeling, ground moving target identification, electronic warfare, maritime surveillance, image processing, algorithm development for advanced radar image products/exploitation
- Design, develop, and analyze radar systems and software architectures
- Design, implement, and test algorithms for detection, discrimination, and tracking systems
- Model and simulate system designs to demonstrate performance metrics
- Develop unique solutions and efficient implementations of signal processing algorithms
- Leverage tools such as IDL, MATLAB, Python or C++ to analyze data and generate algorithms
- Analyze system level signal propagation, RF system performance, and requirements development
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, program management, and senior leadership teams
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in radar signal processing
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of radar signal processing techniques
- Experience with algorithm development, probability, and statistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in radar signal processing
Nice to Have
- Experience with C++ is preferred
