This role involves working with customers, manufacturers, and sales teams to provide timely and accurate quotes for various electrical projects. The specialist will negotiate pricing, manage change orders, and ensure material delivery for clients.
Responsibilities
- Obtain market information relevant to electrical gear
- Prepare packages and provide quotes to customers for various projects
- Work closely with the Project Management team to fulfill customer requests
- Enter change orders and handle expedite requests between contractors and manufacturers
- Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and supply quotes to contractors for change orders
- Coordinate between contractors, manufacturers, manufacturer reps, and sales team to ensure correct and on-time material arrival
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Associate Degree or B.Sc. in Logistics, Purchase and Supply, Business Administration or related fields
- Familiarity with electrical commodities such as lighting and supporting hardware
- Experience in quoting or pricing support roles
