Join a leading electrical distributor as a Quotations Specialist - Gear, focusing on providing quotes, preparing project packages, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure material delivery for customer projects.
Responsibilities
- Obtain market information
- Work with customers, providing them with quotes and preparing packages for various projects
- Work closely with Project Management team
- Fulfill customer project requests
- Enter change orders and handle expedite requests between contractors and manufacturers
- Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and supply quotes to contractors for change orders
- Closely coordinate between contractors, manufacturers, manufacturer reps and sales team to ensure material arrives correctly and on time
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in quoting or pricing support roles preferred
Nice to Have
- Associate Degree or B.Sc. in Logistics, Purchase and Supply, Business Administration or related fields
- Familiarity with electrical commodities such as lighting and supporting hardware
- Experience in quoting or pricing support roles
