Quotation Specialist - Gear

About This Role

Join a leading electrical distributor as a Quotations Specialist - Gear, focusing on providing quotes, preparing project packages, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure material delivery for customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Obtain market information
• Work with customers, providing them with quotes and preparing packages for various projects
• Work closely with Project Management team
• Fulfill customer project requests
• Enter change orders and handle expedite requests between contractors and manufacturers
• Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and supply quotes to contractors for change orders
• Closely coordinate between contractors, manufacturers, manufacturer reps and sales team to ensure material arrives correctly and on time

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in quoting or pricing support roles preferred

Nice to Have

• Associate Degree or B.Sc. in Logistics, Purchase and Supply, Business Administration or related fields
• Familiarity with electrical commodities such as lighting and supporting hardware
• Experience in quoting or pricing support roles
