This Quality Engineering Intern position assists in setting production standards for aerospace components by collaborating with quality control systems and establishing product requirement rules. The role focuses on learning and enhancing product quality and quality systems, thereby ensuring the integrity and reliability of critical turbine components.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Quality, Engineering, and Operations staff
- Determine quality improvement factors of each product and process
- Evaluate methods to inspect, test and evaluate aspects of manufacturing processes, products and equipment
- Review to make sure processes adhere to quality standards
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Work in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products or software
- Perform product audits to ensure process is able to produce conforming hardware
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or related degree
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
