About This Role

Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the Hilton facility to ensure the well-being of guests and team members, contributing to outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds
  • Conduct facility inspections
  • Assign, verify and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system
  • Direct, oversee and maintain required documentation for energy management and conservation and preventive maintenance programs
  • Lead, manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations, including scheduling, budgeting and complying with contractor bidding standard
  • Direct daily department operations including guest service standards, product quality, inventory management and cost controls, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, recognition and reward
  • Recruit, interview and train team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, projects management, business or a related field
  • Proven track in overseeing large-scale projects
  • Complete understanding of the departmental and/or projects budgeting process
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication in Spanish and English
  • Availability to support department's operation on regular days, holidays and weekends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, projects management, business or a related field
  • 8 to 10 years in a facilities manager role within the same or similar industry, and 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience
