About This Role

This role will support the property management team, assisting with leasing, resident services, and maintenance coordination to ensure a positive customer experience. You will receive training and coaching to develop the necessary skills to grow into a Property Manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Work with prospects, answering internet leads, phone calls, and scheduling tours
  • Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, and request security deposits
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, assisting with renewals, transfers, and account inquiries
  • Coordinate with maintenance, walk apartments for readiness, and follow up on work orders
  • Create a positive experience for residents during move-in and manage move-out processes
  • Post rent money and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Plan, prepare, and host resident activities
  • Lead the team, assist with training, and help accomplish goals
  • Assist the Property Manager as required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in a management role with experience leading a team
  • Gracious, warm, and genuine nature
  • Positive, upbeat, high-energy demeanor
  • Ability to take pride in work and ownership of property
  • Helpful attitude and dedication to excellent customer service
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent sense of time management
  • Strong administrative experience
  • Articulate communication skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Confidence to learn, seeks knowledge, and strives for personal growth
  • Good organizational skills and follow through

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in a management role with experience leading a team. Prior management experience is a must. Property management experience is a plus, will also consider strong management experience from customer service, sales, hospitality, or retail environments.
