This role will support the property management team, assisting with leasing, resident services, and maintenance coordination to ensure a positive customer experience. You will receive training and coaching to develop the necessary skills to grow into a Property Manager role.
Responsibilities
- Work with prospects, answering internet leads, phone calls, and scheduling tours
- Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, and request security deposits
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, assisting with renewals, transfers, and account inquiries
- Coordinate with maintenance, walk apartments for readiness, and follow up on work orders
- Create a positive experience for residents during move-in and manage move-out processes
- Post rent money and follow up on outstanding balances
- Plan, prepare, and host resident activities
- Lead the team, assist with training, and help accomplish goals
- Assist the Property Manager as required
Requirements
- 1-3 years in a management role with experience leading a team
- Gracious, warm, and genuine nature
- Positive, upbeat, high-energy demeanor
- Ability to take pride in work and ownership of property
- Helpful attitude and dedication to excellent customer service
- Self-motivated
- Excellent sense of time management
- Strong administrative experience
- Articulate communication skills
- High sense of urgency
- Confidence to learn, seeks knowledge, and strives for personal growth
- Good organizational skills and follow through
Qualifications
- 1-3 years in a management role with experience leading a team. Prior management experience is a must. Property management experience is a plus, will also consider strong management experience from customer service, sales, hospitality, or retail environments.
