The Project Manager supports the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network by administering, maintaining, securing, and accrediting the network. This role ensures the IT environment supports all unclassified learning activities for students, staff, faculty, and guests.
Responsibilities
- Uphold, defend, coach, and mentor sound agile practices and values.
- Guide the development/sustainment of an agile team into a self-organized, effective unit with a sustainable cadence.
- Identify, understand, and document functional requirements and user stories.
- Facilitate the complete life cycle of projects with competing availability, priorities, and multiple stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience
- IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM)
- Knowledgeable and/or experienced with Waterfall and Agile techniques (User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing)
- Experienced with project planning and facilitating project life cycles
Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years experience with BA/BS, 7+ years with AA/AS, or 9+ years experience with Project Management.
