Project Manager - Municipal Engineering

About This Role

Manage multi-discipline municipal engineering projects from proposal to closeout, coordinating activities, managing budgets, and cultivating client relationships. Lead and delegate tasks to diverse work teams to deliver CIP programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of multi-discipline projects and clients from proposal to closeout
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities including client meetings, public hearings, and public involvement events
• Manage time frames and budgets
• Anticipate client needs, biases, and preferences and tailor communication and work output accordingly
• Lead, coordinate and delegate work to multiple work teams in multiple locations
• Work directly with municipal client staff to deliver CIP programs and or projects
• Formulate, track and meet program and project budgets and schedules
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare or coordinate preparation of project / client correspondence and documentation
• Participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 7+ years municipal experience
• Professional Engineer registration in Minnesota
• Experience in managing municipal CIP programs, projects, clients and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school
• 7+ years municipal experience
