About This Role

This Project Assistant role involves supporting construction project operations, focusing on coordination, scheduling, and communication, to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, field teams, and subcontractors for seamless communication and workflow
• Manage project documentation such as submittals, meeting minutes, and drawing logs
• Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract standards
• Prepare and allocate weekly timesheets while tracking progress across multiple job sites
• Support project closeout processes by verifying completion of subcontractor tasks and finalizing documentation
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address challenges related to construction site conditions
• Assist with cost engineering and budget tracking to ensure financial targets are met
• Maintain schedules and timelines to keep construction projects on track

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in construction administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe software
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with construction processes and an understanding of project management principles
