Product Development Engineer III

About This Role

Lead and oversee product development projects for innovative medical devices from inception to completion, ensuring safety and effectiveness. Act as a subject matter expert, guiding a team and solving complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and release innovative medical devices that are safe and effective
• Manage projects, including directing the activities of other team members
• Act as a subject matter expert, solving complex engineering problems within expertise
• Participate in and lead risk management activities with assistance from senior experts
• Create regulatory compliant design history files, including personal generation, oversight, and review of documentation
• Clearly and effectively present project team's work output at cross-functional design reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Proficient in design of injection molded plastic parts/assemblies
• 3-5 years relevant experience in the medical device industry
• Ability to lead a team
• High attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with other departments
