Develop chassis components for Truck and SUV models as a Product Development Engineer, managing 3D data, documentation, and leading communication with design and supplier teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage 3D data, technical documentation, drawings, and parts lists based on vehicle change points or external group requests
- Perform regulation and certification confirmation activities
- Lead communication between design, supplier, and project management teams as needed
- Monitor North America field issues and warranty condition for chassis components, including completing root cause investigations as needed
- Support benchmarking and study of cost reduction proposals with suppliers and make proposals for implementation
Requirements
- 5 years or more as a Mechanical engineer or equivalent
- Experience in CATIA
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5 years or more as a Mechanical engineer or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Experience in Chassis design and development
