Produce Team Receiver

About This Role

The Produce Team Receiver is responsible for accurately processing all product deliveries, maintaining the receiving area, and ensuring efficient distribution of merchandise while upholding excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process all product deliveries in a timely manner with attention to detail and according to procedures.
• Maintain backstock and cooler areas, ensuring they are neat, clean, organized, and secure.
• Distribute received merchandise or notify the appropriate team of its arrival.
• Process incoming special orders, price items, and notify guests.
• Document product transfers and waste/spoilage using appropriate forms.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members regarding receiving and department operations.
• Attend all scheduled department, store, and training meetings.
• Verify each delivery against invoices, note variances, and correct discrepancies.
• Assist in stocking product and filing completed paperwork.
• Accurately record time using the time clock for shifts and meal breaks.
• Adhere to proper dress code, including safety shoes and gloves when necessary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Entry level position. No prior experience is explicitly required, but working knowledge of IRMA is desired.
