Preventive Maintenance Program Manager

About This Role

Manage and develop the preventive maintenance program for the Building Maintenance & Grounds Division, supervising support personnel and ensuring efficient utilization of resources. This role involves overseeing funding, asset data, maintenance systems, and regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage the BMG Preventive Maintenance Program, including funding oversight, cost apportionment, and budget preparation
• Collect, input, modify, and maintain asset data using F&S’s integrated workplace management system (IWMS), AiM
• Develop, maintain, and administer preventive maintenance systems and schedules, including system manuals and equipment standards
• Coordinate and administer regulatory inspection programs for boilers, pressure vessels, elevators, dumbwaiters, and lifts
• Communicate with the State Fire Marshal’s Office and other inspectors, processing and tracking invoicing
• Supervise support staff to ensure accurate recordkeeping and obtain all required Certificates of Inspection and Operation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, facilities management, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience managing a preventive maintenance program
• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, compliance, and/or budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years (36 months) in education, training, and/or work experience in facilities maintenance, facilities management, or closely related field

Nice to Have

• Proficiency/experience with IWMS/CMMS/EAM systems
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams in an industrial, facilities, or infrastructure environment
• Higher education experience
• Dynamic, proven customer relations skills and experience
