The Preschool Teacher at Discovery Isle Preschool provides a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience for infants, supporting their individual needs and developmental milestones. This role involves building strong relationships with families and collaborating with the teaching team to maintain a safe and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, responsive, and engaging classroom experience that supports each child’s individual needs
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication and care updates
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment where infants can develop curiosity, confidence, and early learning skills
- Collaborate with your teaching team to maintain consistent routines, meet licensing standards, and uphold the school’s commitment to excellence
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 6 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education (and enrolled in remaining 6) OR awarded CDA in Preschool
- 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center
- Nurturing personality with patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with babies
- Authorization to work in the United States
Qualifications
- 6 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education and enrollment in the remaining 6 Core ECE Units, or an awarded CDA in Preschool
- 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center. Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
