Prepared Foods Team Member (Deli Service Counter & Culinary Venues)

About This Role

As a Prepared Foods Team Member, you will support the Prepared Foods team by preparing, serving, and stocking a variety of hot and cold food items, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cut, prepare, and serve a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salad, and pizza
• Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators
• Check in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary
• Assist Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
• Provide excellent customer service, address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and model suggestive selling techniques
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
• Immediately report safety hazards and violations
