This Postdoctoral Fellow position involves performing research on novel technologies in interventional oncology procedures, with a strong focus on translational and clinical research in image-guided loco-regional treatments for hepatic malignancies. The fellow will be involved in the development and evaluation of novel image-processing techniques and image-based markers to improve image-guided treatments.
Responsibilities
- Perform research on novel technologies in interventional oncology procedures
- Develop and evaluate novel image-processing techniques and image-based markers
- Apply image-processing methods in loco-regional therapies for liver cancer patients
- Work under the supervision of Dr. Iwan Paolucci and Dr. Bruno C. Odisio
- Maintain security and integrity of critical infrastructure if applicable
Requirements
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience with image-processing frameworks for cross-sectional imaging (e.g., ITK)
- Training of AI models (e.g., nnUNet)
- Basic statistical knowledge
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field
