This role will drive the growth of Kelso Industries' commercial plumbing business by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and preparing accurate project estimates and proposals. The successful candidate will manage projects from bidding through close-out, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for clients and the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue project opportunities through relationships, networking, and bid invitations
- Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and proposals that meet profit goals (20%–50%)
- Collaborate with field and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for scope accuracy
- Maintain strong vendor, subcontractor, and client relationships
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in plumbing estimating, sales, or project management (commercial/institutional)
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and code compliance
- Ability to build client trust, read blueprints, and manage multiple bids
- Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and standard office tools
