Plastic Finisher

About This Role

Join a hands-on team as a Plastic Mold Finisher, responsible for removing flash, trimming, cleaning, and inspecting molded plastic parts using hand tools to ensure top-quality products. This role ensures products meet quality and appearance standards, contributing to the production team's continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Trim excess material (flash) from molded plastic parts using various hand tools
• Smooth, sand, and finish surfaces to meet quality and appearance standards
• Visually inspect finished parts for defects and report any quality issues
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively (e.g., knives, sanders, drills)
• Prepare parts for assembly, packaging, or shipment as required
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the production team

Requirements

• Comfortable using hand and basic power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to consistently follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work required shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior manufacturing or finishing experience is a plus.
