This role serves as the initial point of contact for patients, requiring excellent customer service for front office reception, scheduling, data entry, and billing within a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact with patients
- Perform front office reception duties
- Schedule appointments
- Conduct appointment follow-up
- Perform data entry
- Handle billing tasks
- Manage copying and scanning documents
- Monitor and fulfill supply needs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of job-related experience
- Previous experience demonstrating direct customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate basic office equipment (fax, printer, copier, scanner)
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of job-related experience demonstrating direct customer service
Nice to Have
- Some post high school coursework (customer service, business)
- 2+ years of job-related experience
