As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop customized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to help restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain, contributing to patients' overall well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Educate patients and their families on the treatment process, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and evidence-based practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Certification in a specialized area of physical therapy (e.g., Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Sports Certified Specialist)
- Experience with advanced therapeutic techniques such as dry needling, manual therapy, or aquatic therapy
