As a Physical Therapist, specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with physical limitations or injuries in a long-term care setting for Quality Care Rehab at Majestic Care of Fairfield. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to help patients restore function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with physical limitations or injuries
• Develop personalized treatment plans to help patients restore function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility
• Conduct comprehensive assessments through clinical examination and diagnostic tests to identify impairments and functional limitations
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and patient education to address impairments
• Perform hands-on manual therapy techniques, such as joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization
• Prescribe therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and neuromuscular re-education exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, and motor control
• Tailor the application of treatment modalities to each patient's needs and monitor responses
• Guide patients through functional mobility training, gait training, and activities of daily living (ADL) retraining

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
