About This Role

This Physical Therapist position involves evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy modalities as prescribed by a physician to restore function and prevent disability. The role supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and contributes to patient care at Temecula Valley Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician
• Administer treatments and physical agents to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistant

Requirements

• Current California Physical Therapist license
• BLS (CPR) certification

Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, entry level Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited college or university
• 1 year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility preferred

Nice to Have

• One (1) year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility
