Physical Therapist

About This Role

Provide patient-centered physical therapy services on a per diem basis, evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and reassessing progress in accordance with regulatory standards and professional practice guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients and gather relevant clinical information from medical records and care teams
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary providers as needed
• Develop individualized, measurable, and achievable treatment goals
• Implement physical therapy interventions using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Reassess patient progress per departmental and regulatory guidelines
• Identify additional patient needs and recommend further testing or interventions
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and equipment use
• Ensure compliance with Physical Therapy Practice Act standards and institutional policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of employment
• BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
