Physical Therapist - Sports Therapy

About This Role

Evaluate and treat patients, including providing instructions and assistance to their families, as a Physical Therapist focused on sports therapy at Akron Children's.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients referred and provide instructions and assistance to patient's families as indicated
• Effectively work with and supervise physical therapist assistants and students
• Provide timely documentation for medical records/insurance needs per division protocol
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age

Requirements

• Experience in physical therapy
• Experience working with all levels within an organization
• Experience in healthcare
• Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Physical Therapy is required; Masters or Doctorate preferred
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is preferred
