Join a compassionate therapy team as a Part-Time Physical Therapist, enhancing residents' mobility and strength in a Skilled Nursing Facility in York, SC. You will deliver individualized treatment plans to help seniors achieve functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain
• Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, body mechanics, home routines, and lifestyle changes to aid recovery and prevent injuries
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective patient care

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-centered approach
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy

Qualifications
