The Physical Therapist plans and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability. This role helps patients reach maximum performance levels using various equipment and devices, and involves evaluating, recording, and reporting patient progress. Providence is hiring for multiple openings at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy programs
- Restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part
- Help patients/residents reach maximum performance levels by utilizing various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Evaluate, record, and report patient progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Alaska Physical Therapist License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- 1 year of experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Master's Degree or PhD
- 1 year of experience
