Physical Therapist

About This Role

Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients with impairments or disabilities. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment and home programs
• Document progress in compliance with regulations
• Supervise PTAs and aides per state law
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

Requirements

• A Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• A current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy
• Knowledge of PT principles and practices
• Strong communication skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Effective time management

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Entry level position, experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
