Physical Therapist PRN

About This Role

Provide professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients in an acute care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role involves evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning)
• Communicate clearly and openly with all team members and patients
• Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
• Be accountable for performance and responsibilities
• Continuously look for ways to improve the patient experience
• Take initiative for professional growth

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Valid Texas License or Temporary License for Physical Therapy
• 1 year Licensed PT experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
• 1 year of licensed Physical Therapist experience
