Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver personalized physical therapy recovery plans for older adults and children, helping them improve physical abilities and restore hope.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs
- Develop patient recovery plans
- Deliver physical therapy
- Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
- Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
- Adapt to the needs of individual patients
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals for comprehensive care
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy OR Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
- Entry level with support for new graduates; may require 5 years responsible PT experience if only Bachelor's degree
