About This Role

Assess patient needs, develop, and deliver physical therapy recovery plans to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities for patients. This role is crucial in helping patients regain their power and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs
• Develop patient recovery plans
• Deliver physical therapy
• Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
• Make referrals to help patients get the care they need

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy OR Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
• Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent.
