Physical Therapist

About This Role

Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities and promote independence. This role contributes to Powerback's mission of improving lives through physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies for older adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs
• Develop patient recovery plans
• Deliver physical therapy
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
• Train patients and caregivers on skills for independence and productivity
• Make referrals to help patients get appropriate care

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
• Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of experience
• New grads welcome, up to 5 years of experience for specific Bachelor's degree holders
