As a Physical Therapist, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs
- Develop patient recovery plans
- Deliver physical therapy
- Address the whole patient and see them as an individual
- Design a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities
- Adapt to the needs of the patient
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals for comprehensive patient care
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy OR Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field AND Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy + 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience
