Physical Therapist - Per Diem

About This Role

Plan, organize, develop, and administer physical therapy services in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Evaluate patients, establish treatment plans, and directly administer or supervise treatments to maintain a high degree of quality care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and administer physical therapy services in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Evaluate each patient and establish treatment plans and goals in cooperation with referring physician and patient
• Directly administer treatment to patients or supervise treatments by department personnel
• Review department policies, procedures, and manuals annually
• Maintain treatment records, progress notes, and statistics
• Ensure Rehab receptionist receives charges for physical therapy rendered to patients
• Attend and participate in workshops and seminars to stay abreast of changes and maintain professional status
• Evaluate and treat all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Assume supervision responsibilities of Physical Therapy Manager as delegated
• Maintain patient confidentiality and patient rights at all times
• Monitor the condition of equipment
• Communicate patient status, goals, and treatment plan with other relevant disciplines and staff members

Requirements

• Experience as a therapist in a hospital, SNF or other related medical facility
• Training in rehabilitation and restorative therapy practices

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist with MA license
• Experience as a therapist in a hospital, SNF or other related medical facility
