About This Role

This full-time Physical Therapist role involves evaluating and treating residents in a long-term care setting, focused on improving function, mobility, and quality of life. The position requires developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with an experienced care team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents to improve function, mobility, and quality of life
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with an experienced care team
• Complete documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain
• Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, and body mechanics to aid recovery and prevent injuries
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans
• Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• Active Florida Physical Therapist license
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
