Physical Therapist

About This Role

HealthPro Heritage at Home is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for home health services in East Texas, including Hemphill, Jasper, and surrounding areas. This role involves assessing patients, delivering therapeutic treatments, and educating patients and families to improve functionality and prevent injuries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and flexibility
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality and alleviate pain
• Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, body mechanics, home routines, and lifestyle changes to aid recovery and prevent injuries
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist or license-eligible
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
