The Physical Therapist will assess movement dysfunction, develop and adjust evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver skilled interventions to improve patient function and reduce pain at an outpatient clinic in Wilton, CT.
Responsibilities
- Apply clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination
- Collaboratively develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle
- Deliver skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain
- Track meaningful patient outcomes and adjust approach based on progress and clinical presentation
- Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for patients throughout their recovery journey
Requirements
- Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in Connecticut
- CPR and first aid certification
- Experience in an outpatient clinic treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative, pre-operative, and non-operative cases (can be from clinical affiliations for new graduates)
Qualifications
- Must have experience in an outpatient clinic treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative, pre-operative, and non-operative cases—experience can be gained as a licensed Physical Therapist or during clinical affiliations for new graduates.
