Physical Therapist

About This Role

Join a comprehensive outpatient practice as a Physical Therapist, providing direct patient care, evaluating and treating patients to maximize functional outcomes, and documenting progress. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility and prioritize patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care
• Integrate elements of patient/client management, examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions
• Maximize patient’s functional outcomes
• Document treatments and patient progress according to professional and department policies and procedures
• Formulate comprehensive treatment program by evaluating patient’s medical history, disease/condition, impairments, disability and functional/developmental status
• Prioritize patient care needs
• Accurately assess patient’s needs through the continuum of care
• Provide appropriate disposition, equipment, education and treatment recommendations in a timely manner
• Complete all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, regulatory and corporate compliance standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree
• Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree from an approved Physical Therapy program
• 1 year physical therapy experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply
