Physical Therapist

About This Role

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing direct patient care, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and documenting patient progress to maximize functional outcomes. This full-time position is located in an outpatient practice.

Responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive treatment program by evaluating patient’s past medical history, disease/condition, impairments, disability and functional/developmental status
• Prioritize patient care needs
• Accurately assess patient’s needs through the continuum of care and provides appropriate disposition, equipment, education and treatment recommendations in a timely manner
• Complete all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, regulatory and facility's corporate compliance standards
• Ensure all clinical and payer required documentation is concise, pertinent, legible and in accordance with organizational requirements

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program
• Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Master's degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree
• 1 year physical therapy experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply

Nice to Have

• 1 year physical therapy experience
