Physical Therapist Acute Care

About This Role

Provide professional and technical physical therapy services to assigned patients in an acute care setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient care and contribute to ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning)
• Communicate clearly and openly with multidisciplinary team members
• Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
• Be accountable for performance
• Work to improve the patient experience
• Take initiative for professional growth

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year Licensed PT experience
