This Physical Education Teacher position involves planning, organizing, and implementing instructional programs that foster student academic potential within Harmony Public Schools. Responsibilities

• Understand and support the mission, vision, and values of Harmony Public Schools.
• Design and implement instruction for assigned content areas according to school standards, curriculum, and student needs.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Utilize varied teaching practices and methodologies to meet diverse student needs.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Conduct tutoring sessions to meet student needs.
• Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing classroom rules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
• Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to use effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficiency with computer software, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software
• Ability to analyze data
