Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician will dispense raw materials, perform manufacturing processes like granulating and blending, and maintain a clean and orderly production environment to ensure quality pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the pharmacy and manufacturing areas and equipment in a clean, neat and orderly manner
• Requisition materials needed from warehouse, verifying correctness, release status, and expiry period
• Weigh raw materials according to master records and accurately record all dispensing information
• Clean all areas and equipment to be used, completing appropriate logbooks prior to Quality Assurance clearance
• Verify all necessary materials are correct, present, and released, obtaining supervisory verification for all weights and measurements
• Process raw materials according to instructions, documenting all required actions in master records and operating equipment safely
• Perform in-process testing as required in master instructions, and monitor product compliance with specifications
• Weigh and document yield for all products after completion and label all product containers and reject materials appropriately
• Transfer completed products to the proper in-process quarantine area or processing area
• Clean manufacturing areas and equipment promptly at the conclusion of each operation, and sanitize floor drains according to schedule
